If, as Rathergood’s song tells us, the internet is made of cats, getting Cat Land properly connected was surely overdue.
We now have fast satellite internet in our little corner of the woods. Getting it working involved a strange device, a very long ladder, and our valuable friend Viktor heading high into a tree to find a clearer view of the sky.
Viktor, acting Ewok, rose to the occasion. Thank you, Viktor!

Chunky supervised from his basket. As far as he could establish, the upgrade did not make dinner arrive any faster. He remains unimpressed.

For the humans, it means we can finally share more updates from Cat Land without the connection giving up halfway through. For the cats, life continues to revolve around the essentials: food, comfortable sleeping spots, and humans who know their place.
We’ll leave you with the appropriate soundtrack: Rathergood’s The Internet Is Made of Cats – a little piece of internet history.
If you recognise the references, you’ve probably been online almost as long as we have. If you don’t, consider it a short lesson in digital archaeology. The internet was a strange place. Cats were already in charge.
Cat Land is now doing its bit. Chunky will contribute after his nap.
