Conversation and education are powerful tools in bringing about change, hence my Tikkun attends and contributes to events and conferences whenever possible through various means. Furthermore we work to establish our own annual conference focusing on social, academic and cultural dimensions of human-animal relations.
On this page you’ll find updates on events and conferences we support and / or attend. We cover academic conferences on animal studies, events of like-minded organisations and individuals and not lastly cultural events like philosophical coffee houses or film screenings.
Our very own annual gathering aims to blend academic depth with community building and socializing. Together with our partners we provide an inspiring setting for talks, workshops and overall reflection.
Participation can be online or in person, current planning aims for holding the first annual gathering in Assisi, Italy – the birthplace of St. Francis, the protective saint of all animals.
Regardless whether you are a researcher, student, activist, artist or ‘just’ an individual with an interest in making things a little better for all sentient beings: everyone’s invited to join our events and be part of the growing community which strives for change in human-animal relations.
