Education and conversation are powerful tools for change – that’s how we believe at my Tikkun. That’s why we host annual hybrid conferences focusing on animal studies, gathering scholars, activists, artists, and engaged minds to explore ethical and cultural dimensions of human-animal relationships.
Our events alternate between two uniquely powerful locations, Assisi, Italy—the birthplace of St. Francis and a symbol of compassion—and Memento, Poland, a unique memorial dedicated to animal suffering.
These gatherings blend academic depth with heartfelt participation, offering talks, workshops, and moments for reflection, even if you participate in person or online.
