By gently bending Dante’s famous line from the Divine Comedy toward the sunny side, my Tikkun invites everyone interested in making the World a better place for all sentient beings to the first Tikkun-Agora, to be held in the township of Assisi, Italy, in late summer 2026.
In a World where it is easy to lose Hope – both individually and in the grand scheme of things – this event aims to stir the embers of Hope: the Hope that change is possible and that everyone is required to bring it about. Whether through small gestures or significant actions, let us gather both offline and online for a day of presentations and the exchange of ideas.
Our German partner, Pro Animale, will graciously host us at Sorriso di San Francesco (“Smile of St. Francis”), their animal sanctuary just outside Assisi. Here, we will have the chance to enjoy the company of numerous animals, listen to the “voice of silence” while walking in the valley among the olive trees, and connect with one another as we share ideas and experiences from our respective backgrounds and walks of life.
