Sometimes simple things look very complicated, or have complicated names even! Such is the notion of the World needing a little bit of a repair. Yet this is at the heart of what Tikkun or my Tikkun even means. Things aren’t all great in this World – particularly when it comes to how humans treat animals – our fellow sentient creatures.
But each of us can make a difference and help with improving things, little by little!
Isn’t there more to it? Of course there is… the word comes from a religious / philosophical context and has been used, worked and discussed upon for hundreds of years. But is this really important for us now? Maybe, but probably not… my Tikkun is all about conscious choices: be it in shopping for ethical products, joining events and experiences to connect with like minded individuals or just staying in the loop about interesting things happening around humans, animals and their relations altogether.
